ROCK CAFÉ & YOUTH CLUB
Wired Rock Café and Wired Youth Club are both open
to young people aged 11 years upwards and operate from the JOG Youth and
Community Centre. Both Clubs are staffed entirely by volunteers and senior
members (all appropriately referenced, trained and checked)
WIRED Youth Club
opens every Wednesday evening during term time (plus some holiday drop ins) The
youth club offers xbox 360, wii, pool/snooker, table tennis, table football,
sports and time with friends.
Years 7 – 9 session runs from 6.30pm – 8pm at the JOG Centre followed by an hour of sport
in the Sports Hall at the Leisure Centre with football, basket ball, dodge ball
etc for those who wish to join in – finishing at 9pm. Year 10+ session runs from 8pm – 9.45pm in the JOG Centre (can join sport
session in Sports Hall if wished) Tuck/drinks can be purchased. Subs 60p.
WIRED rock café
operates every Thursday evening during term time (plus occasional specials)
from 6pm – 9pm. Free tuition is available in drums,
bass, electric and acoustic guitar and there are opportunities to join/play in
a band Guitars, drum pads, keyboards are available to borrow. Those who just
like rock music but don’t want to play an instrument are also welcome and xbox,
wii, etc is available, Tuck/drinks can be purchased. Subs £1.

Times
6.30 – 8pm at JOG Centre and 8 – 9pm Sports Hall,
Leisure Centre
Junior Youth Club in the JOG Centre finishes at 8pm and you will not be able to return to the JOG Centre after the sport session ends at 9pm.
8 – 9.45pm at JOG Centre
(Seniors can also join sport at Sports Hall from 8 -
9pm if you want)
